Trains cancelled due to flooded tracks. Apparently British rails are not very good at handling rain. I mean, it's Britain, who would have thought there would be a lot of rain!?
Ever since they privatized their railway systems they have had more maintenance issues and general in-coordination between different owned stations, leading to a general disarray of the service up until they reinstated a 'semi-public' general management service. So yeah, they were not smart with that =o/
And this is *just* rain. If we get a snow blizzard like the ones in previous years prepare yourself for major service disruption, flights cancelled etc. (hopefully I'll be able to dodge the snow, I'm flying home sooner this year! :P)
