Kind of: were the directions to some hidden place like platform 9+3/4 or Diagon Alley or just some well renown tourist site, like London Eye (and you just pointed to it)?
Underground directions to Trafalgar Square, to which you get by taking the Tube to Charing Cross. As for platform 9+3/4, it's there, I've seen the thing. Big sign post and all.
